Festival Producer and Host Michael Paulo is a multi-talented artist with ten solo records to date. His most recent outing features the talented arranging of Pianist David Benoit along with a 40 piece symphony orchestra. With over 3 decades of experience in the music business Michael is not only a talented saxophonist but also is involved with producing the Pacific Rim Jazz festival, The popular Grooves in The Grove series at La Quinta Resort and Spa and numerous Smooth Jazz concerts in Hawaii from where he hails. It's through his numerous relationships that the festival is able to bring in such world class talent. He is also an artist in residence at The world famous Jakarta Internartional Java Jazz Festival. Michael currently resides in the Temecula Valley.

Kiki Ebsen is a versatile artist whose work includes multiple music genres: jazz, folk, pop and classical. Whether composing her own songs, performing or producing new music showcases, Kiki is driven by a stream of creativity and the pure joy of connecting with audiences around the world. At ease in any venue from intimate cabaret to large performing halls, during the past year, Kiki has performed from Los Angeles, to New York, Austin, TX, Canada, and select jazz cruises. With five original records under her belt, Kiki’s sixth and latest record, “Scarecrow Sessions,” has enjoyed worldwide critical acclaim. Born from a desire to fulfill her father’s wish for her to sing jazz (her father is iconic performer, Buddy Ebsen), Kiki recorded an album of songs that had a connection to his life and seven-decade career, beginning with his New York Vaudeville days and Hollywood’s Golden Era. From that record she created the multimedia touring show “To Dad with Love: A Tribute to Buddy Ebsen” with the help of her brother, award-winning video editor, Dustin Ebsen. It’s been described as “...a brilliant, must-see show” by Cabaret Scenes magazine. Kiki is a Yamaha artist, who performs solo, and in duo, trio, and with orchestra.

Adam Hawley 

Adam Hawley's debut recording was a number one hit. He has appeared with a who’s who list of artists in a wide variety of genres. Credits include Dave Koz, Jennifer Lopez, Brian Culbertson, Natalie Cole, Gerald Albright, Dave Koz and Friends Cruise, and American Idol to name just a few. He holds a Doctorate of Musical Arts from the University of Southern California and currently teaches at Musician’s Institute, Chaffey College, and Saddleback College. This will be his debut performance at our festival .

This Japanese Saxophonist is a highly respected and legendary musician in Japan. He is making his 5th appearance at The festival and has always been a crowd favorite, and travels from Japan to specially appear at the event.

 



Rene Paulo

Hawaii's Piano legend was a child prodigy at the age of 4 . He was the youngest featured soloist ever to perform with the Honolulu Symphony at age 12. After studying at the prestigious Julliard school of music he went on to lead his own band, record several solo records during the last 5 decades and garnering numerous hit records in Hawaii. Enjoying a long and illustrious career Rene has been awarded numerous lifetime achievement awards as a performer. At age 82 he is still going strong and always receives standing ovations at his live performances.

Rising Star Curtis Brooks is a young saxophonist that is quickly developing his own unique style and following. I am proud to feature this Temecula Valley Native at our festival this year. After jamming with him and hearing him play over the past two years, I believe this young 21 year old saxman will be defining a new generation of jazzmen to come.

Monty Seward

Monte Seward is a pianist /producer, composer and vocalist. He has resided in Temecula over the last 20 years. He has worked with a who's who of R&B, Pop and Jazz artists such as Diana Ross, Howard Hewlitt, Vanessa Williams, Hiroshima, Gerald Albright, Layla Hathaway and more. He will be heading up the rising stars segment of our festival.
